C. PROCESSING OF DATA
Green Ox maintains contacts with its (business) relations and suppliers. In that context Green Ox processes personal data. Personal Data is information relating to you, which can be used to personally identify you (either directly or indirectly). Our Privacy Statement must be read together with any other legal notices or terms and conditions available on other pages of our Websites.
Green Ox collects the following personal data:
Name, address, residence;
any other information that you choose to provide to us when filling out a contact form on our websites;
your geographic location (country/territory where you are living and/or working);
your job title, role and the name of your employer;
your C.V. and covering letter (where you apply for a vacancy with us on our Websites).
Green Ox is processing these personal data for the following purposes
Entering into and executing agreements;
handling payments and complaints;
to contact customers, suppliers and other interested parties in the context of the execution of Green Ox’s services and offers;
providing and exchanging data to and with third parties in the context of the performance of the contract;
analyse, improve, secure and/or maintain our website and technical systems;
comply with our legal and regulatory obligation;
offering and/or sending our products and services, and/or other (targeted) offers and advertisements.
Green Ox processes all personal data that is necessary for the purposes mentioned above. Which data these are differs per purpose. For example, Green Ox collects other data for sending offers than for maintaining contact with business relations.
In principle, Green Ox does not process special categories of personal data within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and we do not process social security numbers.
D. GROUND FOR PROCESSING
Green Ox processes your personal data based on an agreement between you and Green Ox, due to compliance with a legal obligation, due to a legitimate interest or on the basis of your consent.
For example, if you as a customer have purchased a product and/or a service, Green Ox can inform you on that basis about offers or news about comparable products (including updates of products already delivered) and/or services that you have purchased from Green Ox.
E. DATA SECURITY
Green Ox takes the protection of your data very serious. Green Ox takes appropriate measures to prevent any form of abuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized changes. If you have the impression that your personal data is not sufficiently protected or if you have indications of misuse or otherwise, please contact us.
F. RETENTION PERIOD
Green Ox does not keep your personal data longer than necessary for the purpose for which they are processed. Thus, how long your personal data is kept depends on the purpose for which it was collected. For example, Green Ox has a legal retention obligation with respect to certain personal data (e.g. the tax retention period of 7 years) and on that legal basis your personal data will be retained for that specific period of time.
G. SHARING OF PERSONAL DATA
Green Ox will only provide your personal data to others (third parties) if it is legally obliged to do so or if this is necessary to offer and perform its services (for example a third party who carries out the work for the benefit of the task to be carried out). Transfer of data is done within the framework of this privacy statement.
When Green Ox engages third parties who process personal data on its behalf, it will conclude a data processing agreement with those third parties as referred to in the GDPR.
When Green Ox provides personal data to third parties with your permission, those third parties are in many cases responsible for the processing of your personal data and not Green Ox.
Under certain conditions outlined in law, we may disclose your information to third parties, (law enforcement authorities) if it is necessary and proportionate for lawful, specific purposes.
H. INTERNATIONAL TRANSFER OF DATA
The international footprint of Green Ox involves transfers of personal information between different subsidiaries, as well as to third parties located in the countries where we do business.
Regardless of the location of our processing, we will impose the same data protection safeguards that we deploy inside the EEA and implement appropriate measures to ensure that your personal data is protected in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Some countries have implemented transfer restrictions for personal information, in connection with which Green Ox takes various measures, including: where required, Green Ox implements Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the EU Commission, or similar contractual clauses in other jurisdictions. This may also include transfers to suppliers or other third parties, if any.
Please contact us as directed above if you would like to see a copy of the specific safeguards applied to the export of your personal data.
I. YOUR RIGHTS
If Green Ox is processing your personal data, you may exercise the following rights:
